Before wireless phones and e-mail, we would snuggle up in a "gossip bench" like this one, and chat with a friend for hours. When I found this wonderful piece, the shelves were sagging from years of pressure — a condition I remedied with the addition of the spiral (salvaged from a broken table). The result was wonderful and deserved to be shown off in a contrasting turquoise. The name, "Gabby" is self-explanatory.
